Rum Old-fashioned

Short, dark and sure of itself, the rum sees to that.

Ingredients

• White rum1 1/2 oz
• Dark rum1 tsp
• Powdered sugar (pantry)1/2 tsp
• Angostura bitters1 dash
• Water (pantry)1 tsp

Method

1. Stir powdered sugar, water, and bitters in an old-fashioned glass.
2. When sugar has dissolved add ice cubes and light rum.
3. Add the twist of lime peel, float 151 proof rum on top, and serve.
