Dirty Martini

IBA-listed, for good reason. No mixers to hide behind. As intended.

Ingredients

• Vodka70ml/2fl oz
• Dry vermouth1 tbsp
• Olive Brine (pantry)2 tbsp
• Lemons1 wedge
• Olive (pantry)1

Method

1. Pour the vodka, dry vermouth and olive brine into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake well.
2. Rub the rim of a martini glass with the wedge of lemon.
3. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into the glass and add the olive.
4. A dirty Martini contains a splash of olive brine or olive juice and is typically garnished with an olive.
